We work from our place of residence, therefore we do not list regular hours, no saturdays please, and by appointment on any of the other 6 days including sunday.

Available times for paying 2024 SUMMER TAXES without appointment, are:
- 9am to 5pm (monday) 7-31-2024
- 9am to 5pm (thursday) 8-30-2024
- 9am to 5pm (monday) 9-16-2024
All other times (sunday thru friday) by appointment: (no saturdays please) Our Office is closed at sun down on friday and on all saturdays!
On and after 9-17-2024, Summer Taxes are late and 1% penalty is added, and on 10-1-2024 another 1% will be added each month until paid. On 3-1-2025 Taxes become delinquent and are payable to the St. Joseph County Treasurer ONLY. You must call the County for the exact amount due as there are additional administration fees.
Over payments of $10 or less will not be refunded.
If you mail in your Taxes and want a receipt other than your cancelled check, you MUST supply a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment. PLEASE MAKE YOUR CHECKS PAYABLE TO: LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP
Summer Tax Deferral Forms are available at our office or on Line and must be returned by Sept. 16, 2024 or they will not apply.
Principal Resident Exemption (PRE) Forms are also available at our office and at the Assessor’s Office.
